Dear Colleagues!
The VII Annual European conference on Rheology (AERC'2011) was held in Suzdal (Russia) on May 10-14. More than 250 participants from many countries of Europe, America and Asia took part in this scientific event, and we would like to thank all the participants who presented outstanding papers in main streams of modern Rheology.
Simultaneously with AERC'2011 the conference for young scientists on Rheology and physical-chemical mechanics took place. This combination should play a very important role in preserving all traditions inherent for various rheological schools and their transfer to young generation of rheologists.
The Organizing committee thanks Sponsors and Exhibitors for their valuable contribution to the Conference, as well as the Media support of AERC’2011.
We are also very glad to announce the results of the Poster competition that was held during AERC’2011 under the auspices of Soft Matter journal. Three winners of the competition were selected by the Scientific committee (G.Fuller, J.Vermant, N.Willenbacher), and received special prizes from Soft Matter:
